The Mad Gardener’s Song, Stanza 1.
Adapted from Lewis Carroll
I stole some colouring ideas from Tom Bonin, in that I scanned in the lineart, then printed it out really faint and drew in the colour over that.  Then I scanned the colour in and merged the two.  This means I can play around with contrast, thresholds, saturation, sharpening etc on the two independently.
(I’m sure that must make sense to somebody)
Only eight stanzas to go!

I borrowed a book of drawings by Edward Sorel from the library, and having fun trying to knock off a few of the drawings.  I love Sorel and strongly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Also playing with some tips on scanning line-art I found on tha innerwebz.  My first experience with “Unsharp Mask”.  Seems ok.
